Ashley Clarke is a part of our amazing Member Service team and has been a member of MCC Lakeshore Fitness Center since 2017. Ashley wanted to strengthen her body. She started to take group exercise classes. These classes offered her guidance and encouragement from instructors and other class participants.
“Group exercise classes are great because I love to workout in a group setting. I don’t like to do things on my own, sometimes I struggle figuring out what to do,” said Ashley.
Along with group exercise, Ashley started personal training sessions with fitness specialist Jeff Lee. To continue to build her body she started sparring exercises.
“I initially started training for sparring because I wanted to prove that I’m not weak… for myself and others. It makes me feel strong. I like personal training because it gives me direction. Jeff Lee focuses on my strengths and weaknesses which is different from a group setting where everyone is doing the same thing. Jeff really pushes me to go past my limit because he knows I’m capable of doing so,” said Ashley
